Innovation Park
Innovation Park is a landmark development designed by Innerscape Building Service consultants and built by Foster Construction. Completed in May 2021, Innovation Park features a contemporary and sleek design, housing commercial office spaces, a vibrant café, and an impressive entrance atrium adorned with high vaulted ceilings.
Eastside Refrigeration played a crucial role in installing a sophisticated HVAC system according to the design specifications provided by Innerscape Building Service consultants. Their pivotal involvement ensured the system's successful implementation, which featured advanced Daikin VRF (variable refrigerant flow) systems and SIMX heat recovery air handling units. These were tailored to accommodate the unique requirements of the building's expansive and architecturally challenging spaces.

The Daikin VRF:
With its unique intelligent technology, the Daikin VRF system circulates only the minimum amount of refrigerant needed during a single heating or cooling period. This mechanism provides the end users the ability to control several air conditioning zones at one time individually, a feature that sets it apart.
SIMX Heat Recovery Units:
Designed to save energy and improve indoor air quality, the SIMX Heat Recover Units use aluminium air-to-air plate-type heat exchangers. They can work with a range of air-conditioning applications. Heat exchangers with high conductivity, crossflow, or counterflow construction enable efficiencies of up to 85% when transferring heat from warm to cold air streams.
Challenges and Execution:
Due to the large spaces, high (and tight) ceiling spaces and extensive mechanical infrastructure, this project required meticulous planning and execution. Eastside Refrigeration skilfully managed the installation, coordinating with various subcontractors and overseeing all aspects of the project to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
